Unloading items from route trucks

Sorting and counting returned items

Follow shipping inventory list to gather items (bulk hung uniforms, rugs, cleaning products, etc) to be loaded on to outbound trucks

Will be expected to perform all job functions in a safe and responsible manner

Reads customer orders to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed

Accurately selects items to be pack as per order ticket

Loading and unloading of trucks upon arrival

Use a manual hand truck

Lifting and stacking boxes

At least 6 months of warehouse experience ( loading/unloading trucks)

Must have your own transportation to get to work site

Have at least a high school diploma or ged

One to two years of warehouse experience preferred

Must pay attention to detail and demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness

Must regularly lift and or move 75 lbs or more (anything over 50 lbs is a team lift)

Responsibilities for warehouse loader

• Moving boxes to/from trailers
• Moving pallets using manual pallet jack
• Moving pallets using foot control to push rolling pallet onto conveyor
• Complete scheduled deliveries
• Complete end-of-day settlement and fill out "return to stock" and "return log" forms
• Maneuver heavy equipment using hand trucks, motorized carts, pallet jacks
• Find and identify cars (by labeling) in the warehouse lot per the load plans
• Inspect equipment - properly and accurately fill out paperwork
• Complete pre-trip inspections and maintain energy source forklift
• Check-in and check-out drivers, Check inventory, various other functions on PC and Vehicle Mounted Units

Qualifications for warehouse loader

• Ability to kneel, bend, twist and turn to accomplish a variety of tasks
• Frequent bending, lifting and twisting
• Must have at least 6 months working experience in a warehouse environment
• Strength to lift 60 lbs of merchandise and Push/Pull up to 300 lbs using mechanical aids, such as hand trucks, barrel dollies, motorized carts, pallet jacks
• A minimum of two (2) years experience working in a warehouse environment
• Previous experience operating powered industrial equipment (i.e., forklift, pallet jacks, stock pickers)

Qualifications for warehouse loader

• Capable of working a night shift (Monday – Thursday 4-10 hour shifts) coupled with required overtime
• A minimum of one (1) year of lift truck experience
• Willing and able to perform tasks such as sitting, lifting, walking, climbing, stooping, standing, pushing and/or pulling for up to 12 hours a day
• Willing and able to maintain strict adherence to safety rules and regulations, including wearing required PPE
• A minimum of one (1) year of working experience within a manufacturing or industrial environment
• Flexibilitly is key -- you'll be inside and outside, in hot and cold conditions as you handle product

• Assists in the administration function and record keeping for the department to include weekly action incentive input and scoring, preparing meetings, and analyzing error ratios

• You'll be loading pallets onto trucks in this job -- you'll need to be able to operate a power industrial vehicle, and also be able to lift andmove product of up to 90 lbs
• Remember we said, “hard work” – you might lift 25-80 pounds per case as part of this job
• We have frozen products – your ability to work in extreme cold or hot conditions is required while you’re here
• And you'll hustle --- this is a fast paced, physically demanding environment requiring constant walking, going up/down stairs and platforms, and handling product

• Move out going products from staging area to the loading dock with forklift

• Transport items to be shipped into the trailer with a forklift, pallet jack or by hand in the correct stop sequence, according to a predetermined loading plan
• Locate the proper slot on the trailer for the order, set it in place and secure the load when complete
• Inspect empty pallets for damage, stack and move pallets with pallet jack or forklift to the proper storage area
• Assist Order Selectors and perform other similar duties as requested or assigned by supervisor

• Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, stand, walk, push, pull, squat, lift, grasp, talk, hear and have a good vision
• Must be able to manage confined space entry and climb ladders and steps
• Ability to work outside in environmental conditions which at times include extreme heat or extreme cold
• Have the ability to use your abdominal and lower back muscles to support repetitive or continuous movements
• Have the ability to be on your feet for extended periods of time and repeatedly lift racks
• The ability to exert muscle force to lift, push, pull, or carry objects
