How does Power Apps pricing work? ›

Power Apps per user plan which equips a user to run unlimited applications (within service limits) based on the full capabilities of Power Apps for $20/user/month. Power Apps pay-as-you-go plan which allows individual users to run applications (1 app or 1 portal) without any licenses via Azure subscription.

Power Platform Pricing

Power Apps: $5-$20 per user per month: Helps companies build apps within the Microsoft ecosystem for improved productivity and efficiency. Power Automate: $15-100 per user, or flow per month: Enables companies to automate workflows, reducing internal overwhelm.

This is an entry-level business product with per-user licensing costs ranging from $5 to $20 per user each month. At this level, you'll quickly learn that Power Apps is not included and requires additional licensing fees.

Power Apps Portals licenses

Internal users of the portal are licensed as described above (i.e. per app or per user licensing). Authenticated external users can access the portal at a cost of $200 USD per 100 log ins. Anonymous external users can access the portal at a cost of $100 USD per 100,000 page views.

Power Apps per app plan allows individual users to run one application or one portal for a specific business scenario in a specific environment based on the full capabilities of Power Apps. This plan provides an easy way for users to get started with Power Apps before broader scale adoption.

Microsoft will continue to provide security and other critical updates for the app until Sept 20, 2022. We won't release any other features or functionalities for the app. After Sept 20, 2022, Power Apps for Windows 8 will be removed from the Microsoft Store, and will no longer be supported.
